Google Product Studio launched seasonal themed templates, offering advertisers a convenient solution to instantly generate eye-catching promotional images for various holidays.
With the release of the first templates for St. Patrick’s Day available now, advertisers can effortlessly update their product images for the upcoming holiday on March 17th.
Why we care. The new templates provide advertisers with a simple, cost-effective, and immediate solution to ensure their campaigns stay relevant and engaging to their audience year-round. However, depending too heavily on AI-generated images carries the risk of your campaign blending in with competitors who may be using the same assets. This could potentially harm your brand’s identity.
Getting started. To create St. Patrick’s Day themed product images using Google Product Studio, follow these steps:
- Go to the “Products” page in the “Your business” section in Merchant Center Next.
- Click the “Product Studio” tab at the top.
- Click “Get started” and you will be taken to the “Generate scene” tab.
- Select the product image that you would like to use.
- Click “Generate scene”. It may take a few moments for the image to load.
- If you’re satisfied with the image, click “Add to Merchant Center”. If you’d like to generate a new background you can add a new description and click “Regenerate scene”.
- Click “Save”.
Prompt inspiration. To generate the St Patrick’s Day themed background in the image below, use the following prompt:
- “As the centerpiece on a white table, surrounded by iconic St. Patrick’s Day symbols like shamrocks, green top hats, and gold coins. Use a dynamic composition and bright, cheerful lighting, top view.”
More holiday templated to come. Google confirmed it plans to roll out additional seasonal themed templates gradually throughout the year, including Spring, Easter and Mother’s Day.
