Over two years ago, Google removed BitTorrent from the instant search auto-complete search suggestions. Now, it appears that when you begin typing [bit…] into the Google search box, Google now shows BitTorrent as a search suggestion within Google Instant search.

Over the years, Google has censored various piracy related search queries from their auto-completion. I am not sure why Google is now allowing BitTorrent to show up, while searches for The Pirate Bay, [RapidShare] and [isoHunt] still do not return auto-completions.
We have requested a comment from Google on this change and we will update this story when we hear back.
