CBS To Distribute TV Shows Via MSN & AOL According To WSJ

CBS’s Web Reach to Grow from the Wall Street Journal reports that CBS is close to announcing a deal with MSN and AOL over distributing some of their TV shows and other video programming.


The Wall Street Journal believes we will hear announcements as early as today that CBS will be airing full episodes of shows such as NCIS, CSI and certain sports programming on various web portals including AOL and MSN.

CBS is also in talks with with the new NBC-News Corp video distribution system to air shows on a nonexclusive” basis. The revenue generated by the ads will be split 90/10, with 10-percent going to 90% distribution partners and the remaining going to CBS.

Where is Google in the picture? No mention of any Google partnerships is made.
