Both Google and Seedfund have not confirmed this but Samir Sood, Corporate Development, Google, who heads the Venture Investments and M&A team of Google in India, said, “I am not in a position to comment at this point.” Typically, Google buys small firms, with this investment, Google seems to be taking a different approach.
